Bet all the Puritans here get enraged by the “I eat asz” stickers on some idiot’s truck window, too. As well as those bumper stickers and t shirts with the f bomb on them. Liberty isn’t always comfortable. But tyranny of any kind is sure to be less so. Times a coming that are gonna make some folks real uncomfortable, and about things that matter. Probably be looking back wishing we had the luxury of bitching about a poor taste meme. As a friend of mine used to tell folks when they were whiny, toughen up, pussboy...

It's perfectly understandable to be outraged by the buoy boy meme and to voice that outrage in return. But censoring the meme and the poster on account of it? Two wrongs don't make a right. If this meme were part of a recurring pattern of making fun of the handicapped, then censorship might be warranted, but that's Rick Bin's call. Otherwise, I think he just fuuucked up. I feel he will use better judgment in the future.
The biggest problem our country has is not systemic racism, it's systemic stupidity.

Probably be looking back wishing we had the luxury of bitching about a poor taste meme. As a friend of mine used to tell folks when they were whiny, toughen up, pussboy... What do you call a man with no arms or legs in the water? Bob What do you call a man with no arms or legs at the door? Matt "Hey, can Jimmy come out and play?" "Boys, you know he doesn't have arms or legs." "We know. We need him for 2nd base." Just a few of the jokes we told growing up. Same as Polack jokes (I'm half Polish), German jokes (part German), Irish jokes (a touch of Scoth-Irish), and so many others. My Dad told black jokes yet, when a petition was threatened against a black family moving into the neighborhood, he said that anyone who showed up at the door would end up in the street on their ass. If you can't find humor in things, you're pathetic. It is strange that, for all my coarse, insensitive up-bringing, I mange to respect everyone I meet. Until they prove they don't deserve it.
"Civilized men are more discourteous than savages because they know they can be impolite without having their skulls split, as a general thing." Robert E. Howard

I used to enjoy meme time, but you azzholes have ruined it.
I just can’t understand the humor in that picture! Fake or not. Maybe to some junior high kids!!
Maybe diaper boy has a new name. And to think, less than a month ago you were all Libertarian about fat chicks in Playboy. If I remember correctly, your attitude about that, the NFL, NBA, etc. was basically, “if you don’t like it, don’t buy it”. But someone posts a meme you don’t like and your totalitarian switch flips like lightning. Free speech is fine as long as YOU aren’t personally offended.

I think the bouy, boy was just a play on words, nothing else. I didn’t think a thing about it until cshit hit the fan and I can see where some were offended. I know you all have heard the stupid joke about asking if the little boy could come out to play and his mom says he has no arms or legs. They tell her we know, but we like to watch him flop around on the hot sidewalk. That is a really offensive joke to me.

We have a special needs grandson, and this is totally unacceptable! You're right, Whelenman. If I were Rick Bin, Irving D would be gone. So censorship is ok to you? In this case yes!! Let me guess, you support the first amendment also, unless it’s something you don’t agree with? Fuggin commie.

Somebody stole my bumper sticker! I made a bumper sticker with those words and referencing Washington, Nixon, and Clinton back during the clintonista regime...looks like somebody remembered it

I can’t believe it took over 2 million views and 14000 posts for someone to finally post a meme that offended a bunch of people around here
