Another industry shortage is threatening to halt the production of the Lightfoot scope mount.  For years I have bought the dovetail blank stock from Brownells. It is now out of stock and not eligible for backorder. Numrich used to sell it but they have dropped it completely. A lengthy online search reveals nothing of another source. If you have any info leading to the procurement of dovetail blank stock in the bulk I would be eternally grateful. TIA

Just bought a few slot fillers a month ago for my own use, but not enough to really help you. I'll see what I can find from my notes.
You're looking for uncut stock though? Hmm.. have I even seen that? Not sure I have. Could buy the Marbles blanks at $6/per, that's probably pricier but not a huge price increase to your product at the end of the day?

Yes, the Brownells stuff is uncut bar stock about 12" long. The cost per mount is about $1.25
I have 10 individual blocks left. That will last about 6 weeks at the current order rate.
May have to jack the price and use the single blocks if the bulk stock doesn't surface somewhere.

If what you are talking about is what I think it is I have a length I bought from Brownwlls years ago that I never used. If I can find it you can have it as I'll never use it for anything. But the operative word here is find. Let me look.
