My cousin from Sweden worked for Norma and can calculate inner ballistics.
He has not figured out how to stop his S&W 629 from changing revolver index when fired.
He did get his gun safe stolen and the 629 showed up at the nearest pawn shop, which solved the crime.

I'm pretty much done with my handgun acquisitions...... Me too, I'm 71 and whenever I feel the need for a new pistol, I look in my sock drawer and bam! there's something I forgot about.

I’ve gotten a hankering for S&W wheel guns that I wish I had gotten many years ago. I’d really like to have a 4 or 6” 629.

We're headed up to our cabin in PA this coming week and I have a few loads to test on it as well as my Performance Center 629. Also factory stuff, but I have some really nice 315gr hard cast Woody made for me. I'll let you guys know.

I walked into a pawn shop and bought a 629 Classic stainless for $400. some years ago because the lady that bought it had run one cylinder of magnum stuff through it and decided that the thing should have had wheels under it for such a cannon. If she had known that they would shoot Specials as well as magnums, I’ll bet she wouldn’t have sold it. My kid wanted it more than I did as I didn’t have much use for it. Nice piece though.
My other auto is a .45
