Oh wow. Okay, that clears up a lot. The title to this thread was really confusing till I saw from this post that it refers to a Model 357PD, which is chambered in .41 Magnum, not a .357 Magnum revolver in .41 Magnum, which I couldn't wrap my head around.

Always funny with S&W model numbers. My 357PD in .41 Magnum is my carry pistol. They are rare and hard to find. Good luck on the search. They also tend to be expensive when one is found. They only made them for a few years and not in a large quantity. As long as the flash shield is intact no issues with flame cutting. They can be a bit frisky with a full house load but not near as bad as it's big brother the 329PD in 44 MAG. One can use the X frame grips (Rubber) for a bit more comfort if needed.
