Anyone using or tried this bullet in their 96 Swede? I would be using 4064powder.

They shoot well out of my 96 in front of 4831. On game performance is great as well. I'm sure 4064 will work well for you.

Anyone using or tried this bullet in their 96 Swede? I would be using 4064powder. Yup, use a charge of 40 grs of 4064,, regular large rifle primer. you can use the same charge with the 140 hornady SP also.

Anyone using or tried this bullet in their 96 Swede? I would be using 4064powder. I've burned up a few. They shoot alright, but I'm not sure how well they really shoot, since I'm running irons. From my own experience, I feel like there are many better choices out there if searching for excellent accuracy from your swede. My own personal experience says Barnes match burners, Hornady 140 EDLD match, 143 ELDX, Sierra 140gr BTSP and BTHP match bullets are much more accurate. Since I only shoot an iron sighted swede, I can tell you average accuracy with the 129gr SP interlock is around 2.25" (for 10 shots) at 100 yards. The others are around 1.5". Just for comparisons sake with an iron sight rifle. I run RL22 for my swede loads with the 129gr Hornady interlock bullet, but I'm sure many other powders will work just as well.
I try to stick with the basics, they do so well. Nothing fancy mind you, just plain jane will get it done with style. You want to see an animal drop right now? Shoot him in the ear hole. BSA MAGA
