It is funny.... for the last 12-18 months here any MENTION of sports was verboten, and anyone talking about sports was attacked. Even attacked by self-professed sports lovers and NHL lovers like Deflave. Take a knee. Anti-American. It goes on and on.
Seems like the trolls attacks are on to new, more enticing subjects. Great for the hockey fans here!
Yep - Hockey is in my blood! I played hockey to a top amateur level in Northern California until 15 YO and had some mild interest from a QMJHL and a couple WHL team, but knew I had NO chance... (Played against John Scott when he was a scrawny dude and we were maybe 14??... which is pretty fuggin cool!!)
Since, have coached many young kids here, including my son. I am a die hard SJS fan, for life. I was at the Cow Palace for the 1st ever game, and my buddies and I shared season tickets at the Shark Tank in college back when it was cheap.
I had the TBL/NYI series to to at least 6..... and had NYI in regulation +210 today. It was a great game!!

When I lived in E WA, downriver from your county, I managed to get together with a coupla friends and get to a game against the Winterhawks.
It's not the big show, but it was some pretty decent hockey.
2 hr drive. Got some family there so usually make it an over niter. Grew up there than moved to the sw wa coast. Being a Chicago Blackhawk fan always enjoyed a Winterhawks game. Little known fact, Winterhawks first season they were broke and needed Jerseys. Owner made a call to his friend (owner of the Blackhawks) and soon the Winterhawks had been gifted jerseys. The rest is history.
