Best not bitch about the justice system if you can’t be bothered for jury duty.
This, in spades. I'm bitching about my own personal lack of time becoming even less. If we were caught up or rained out I wouldn't care. Or if I had a normal job. And there are a bunch of retired and or bored people I know who would like to be on the jury. Beating the same old dead horse with this never ending work whine. And to be completely honest I'm ready to get into a 9-5 M-F job. I really am, be alot less bitching that's for sure. Now for all you retired and M-F people I need to get back to work....lol

SamO- Tell the folks there tomorrow that you are an active believer in jury activism. Bring a little golf card with a golf pencil. You will punish whichever side doesn't kick ass during the trial and you will keep a scorecard on how the attorneys and the judge performs. Best side at legally getting evidence submitted with the least amount of objections that are sustained is going to get points. Then explain that you will get the rest of the jury to do what you want because you are a heck of a good guy and not a fake liberal Montanan. See what that brings....

I have been trying to get jury duty for years because I am a mock trial coach and want to score a case in real life. When they hear that I am instantly dismissed.

Cuzzin', I feel a little better now after reading about your misery!
Heard they are spraying for hoppers about 20 miles south of us. We have a bunch of little ones.....
Went down and dug the mud out of the discs on our old 6 row planter today, took about 2 hours.
Got going again with that project, haven't messed with the new planter.
Final semi load of pairs is sorted and ready to get branded tomorrow then hauled the fuuck outta here!
Still calving though, less than a dozen left.
The hoppers do have me worried, we should be swathing this week, close to 1k acres gonna be ready all at once....
Oh yeah, I have FUUCKING jury duty on Monday, KOCKSUCKERS wouldn't excuse me. This life is a joke!
I flat wouldn't show up. You know, had an emergency. Well was off, fence down, something, anything. I have told our local outfit I cannot do it certain times of the year. Other times, if they need me, I will be there. They were really good about that.
