Kahles, 3.5x10x50, spent most of it's short life on a Sako 222RemMag, and failed on a TC Icon 243. Was shooting about 8-10" left and 12" high, and would not adjust back. Been fixed, and it's back on the Sako.

Burris Signature 4x12x42, on it's maiden voyage on the Sako. The elevation adjustment knob just kept turning until it almost came off. Been fixed, and it's on a 30-06.

Here is a link to that buffer. Worth the 12 bucks and one minute install time.

I added one before mounting a Hawke I decided to give a try. I also smeared some silicone inside the rings before mounting. So far so great.

1022 recoil buffer

Hope it helps

A Burris FF II 4-12x42 bought used in mid 1980s quit me twice, but that was on a brutal 30-06 bolt rifle. Burris repaired it both times and sent it back.

Busnell Elite 4200 3-9x40 died on a 6 MM. Bushnell repaired it and sent it back.

I have had a new Leopold Vari-X II 3-9x40 fail to track properly with sight adjustments but held zero once you eventually got it there. As well as a Weaver Vx 7 2-7x32 which did the same. Total PIA to sight in, but never failed to hold zero once she was there.

Had 2 fail, both Redefield Wide Fields. One a 3-9xwhatever those old TV Screen looking Wide Fields they used to make back in the '80s were and one straight 6 Widefield. The 6x fogged and the 3-9 started shooting 5" groups. I bought a couple of Leupold VX-1 3-9x40's to replace 'em.

Leup M8-8X. Turned into a rattle while atop an Anschutz 64 action .22rf sporter. Sent it back, repaired, seems to be working fine. Except it's now on a 10/22. Guess I'll see.
