Similar ballistics to the 375 Ruger & 375 H&H in reg boltface actions ? (30-06 etc)

Just a guess but thinkin the 6.5 rpm. Weatherbys newest offering
Ping pong balls for the win. Once you've wrestled everything else in life is easy. Dan Gable I keep my circle small, I’d rather have 4 quarters than 100 pennies.
Ain’t easy havin pals.

The concept is to use '06 boltface actions without having to alter them and surpass the 375 Whelen AI and stomp on the heels of the 375 H&H by simply necking up the 6.5 WBY RPM brass with no other changes, I was able to neck all these up in a short mount of time by using the expander balls in reg dies I'm doing an improved 358 RIPM (Rotations "Improved" Per Minute) that has 6 gr more h20 capacity and will be very close to the 358 Shooting Times Alaskan in performance, an old 80's Rem 700 in 30-06 donated it's soul to the project, the 35 Whelen and the 35 Whelen AI will get stomped into the dust

Yes it will but I'm not altering boltfaces on the 700 action, When I did, I went with a couple of 375 Norma Improved rifles that smash the 375 Ruger into oblivion

Thanks Swamplord for the efforts to see how the RPM would look and various case capacities.
The brass is produced exclusively for Weatherby by Norma Precision. Brass has CNC-machined primer pockets and is made to match-grade specifications. If this is as good as the 284 brass they made for Grizzly then it is excellent stuff.
I have a long throated 284 shooting 180s that begs to be rechambered to the 7mm RPM. I figure the velocity gain would be 4%-5% faster.
Currently getting 2800 fps which is very accurate. Should be able to get a bit over 2900 to 2940 fps. Getting a reamer and custom dies in the current shortage environment has me leaving things alone.
