You better use heavy for caliber bullets,may need the extra penetration.


The only thing wrong with the 270....Its not a 25-06.

Ya, that's what I was thinkin' as well. I'm not sure the trajectory's gonna be flat enough for Montana. You should really think about necking down that puppy. wink

And too much taper on the case as well, needs to be shorter and perhaps fatter, with an Ackley-esque shoulder.
