I've got an older Winchester 94 I'd like to sling. I know there are barrel band clamps for the front swivel, but are there any gadgets for not haveing to dril the stock for a rear swivel?

Thanks.

Check out the Giles Sling. There are similar slings made for sporting rifles.

Triple K used to make a "lace on sling" and Thompson Center made a lace on sling for their Hawken and Renegade rifles.

Excellent! I googled "lace on sling" and ran across this;

Looks to be everything I am looking for. Thanks for the suggestions!

Levergun Leather is the one to buy. Be Well, RZ.

I just spent about 20 minutes on his website.

Wowie! He makes some nice stuff. Would love to outfit my M71 and my Sharps with his leather.

I have in the past taken a thin piece of nylon strapping the width of the buttplate, and about an inch longer. I would cut it out in the shape of the buttplate but letting about an inch hanging out the bottom. I would then cut, mold, and bend it over a sling swivel bow and sew the flap shut. Then remove buttplate slip the strap under and reattach buttplate. This way you have a secure attachment that is nearly invisible, and it adds only the thickness of the strap to the overall length of pull and can be removed in a minute with no harm to the gun.

Slick idea!
