Have been catching fish on rubber, bucktails, and gliders, figured it was time to get one on top.

Fish only had one eye, but didn't have any trouble hammering the bait on the 2nd cast of the morning.

Are the trees in the water much of issue with break offs?

Usually a whopper plopper 130 or 190 or a top raider if we are talking prop baits. Don't really use inline buzzers anymore. Also use some WTD topwaters like docs, jackpots, etc.

Gliders are a staple in my box. Especially in cold weather.


Never had a break off. I use 80# braid, and stout rods. I can stop a fish if I need too.
