There’s more to it than that, of course, such as making meat prohibitively expensive and ultimately unobtainable for the masses, but not them. Look around the world at socialist and communist countries and you’ll see places where owning land is out of reach for nearly everyone, if not actually illegal.

As always, don’t listen to what they say, watch what they do and how they live. There’s no better example than the billionaires’ retreat going on in Sun Valley, ID right now. All the wealthy climate naggers flying in on private jets, so many that flights have been delayed by the heavy traffic. You can bet your azz they ain’t eating the fungus steak Gates is pushing either.

Mass transit for us… armored limos, SUVs, and jets for themm
Tiny apartments for us….penthouses, country estates, massive ranches, and beach homes for them
Soy, fungus, and lab-grown “meat” for us…Kobe beef and hummingbird tongues for them
No guns for us (even bows and knives in some places)… gated communities, armed private security, and Federal police protection for them (the politicians)

The big push now is to control all sources of information. There’s a lot of pressure for government regulation of internet and other media, but in practice, they will use it to control dissent, not the propaganda we’re deluged with everywhere we look.

Good summary of the problem, ion[/b]? Hold our breath and turn blue?

Vote them out if office by way of a rigged system.

I’m not at all certain that the whole shebang is rotten. Last time they targeted key states, enough to get it done. Gonna be more scrutiny this time, and maybe some new laws in effect. Not optimistic, but haven’t given up either.

Still, we need to push for Article 5 as hard as we can, if only to see all the shuckin’ and jivin’ and hand-wringing from the Left if it becomes a real possibility. No doubt Constitutional “expert” AOC will state that it’s unconstitutional. Clearly it will be racist, hateful, and trans-homo-xeno-phobic.

On the subject of secession in Texas, there are 414,045 (as of today) people in Texas that support secession. Texas does not have actual citizen initiative where Texans can, by petition, put a legislative issue on the General Election ballot. However, there is a provision in the Texas Election Code 172.088 that allows Texas voters, by petition, to place a non-binding question on a party’s primary ballot. Starting on June 14th, the Texas Nationalist Movement has launched a campaign to collect enough petition signatures to place the TEXIT question on the 2022 Primary ballot. Next year, Texans could have the opportunity to go to the polls and cast their vote for the following question:

"The State of Texas should reassert its status as an independent nation. FOR OR AGAINST"

The Texas Nationalist Movement has a web site, and all of the Texans on the fire should at least look at the argument for independence.

That may be worthwhile. As long as it is kept separate from the Republic of Texas group in folks minds.

Problem is, the federales are not about to let Texas go. Too much money. Too many resources.

Too many liberal Calis and damyankees from what I hear on 24

It might be interesting to see how long the cities could go without farm country produce?

It's touchy, there rural areas in states with large cities that make the whole state liberal.

Wabi - part of the problem is the majority of city dwellers think their meat and produce come from the grocery store. They are as clueless as our stolen-election officials.

I have voted in about ten presidential elections I can recall in five different states in cities and small towns both in person and mail in and yet have I needed to photocopy my id to vote. I have met all kinds of people over my 58 years and I have never met anyone yet that doesn't have some form of iD. I suppose there are handful across the country without a id but very dang few and the benefits of showing an id to vote far out weight the negative issues it might create for the very few without. If the left spent half as much time ,energy and money on getting those few ids as they do fighting having to show them there wouldnt be anyone without an ID.

I think I read that China's Mao Zedong made the chinise bureaucrats work the rice patties two weeks a year.

That might be a good idea for our bigshots.

Looking at it from a little different angle, what Texas would like is for the central government to operate as provided for in the Constitution. It was meant that the States would take care of their own affairs, and the central government was to see to the common defense, foreign relations, and keep interstate affairs and commerce running smoothly. I would much prefer to see the restoration of the Tenth Amendment over secession, but as they say: prefer in one hand and schidt in the other and see which one fills up first.

Probably pretty obvious, but I think she’s trying to gain momentum on the right by saying identification proof would actually hurt the right because rural folks can’t use a copier. In other words, no way should you guys push for proof of ID to vote, it’ll hurt you more than it will hurt us. It’s total BS, we know, and just a ploy to slow progress to a valid voting process that prevents fraud.

No matter what her message is, or isn’t, I’m on my seventh phone and fourth laptop. Can y’all please start putting a warning on these threads that lets me know this woman’s face is about to pop up on my screen? I involuntarily punch/throw whatever I’m using when she pops up, and it’s getting expensive.

Ol’ Ebb! When I was a kid there was a house almost right on the Blanco/Travis co. Line on Fall Creek Road. The phone line came in from the Travis county side and stopped at the county line. The phone was in the mailbox out at the county line.

Edit!

I’ll go ahead at beat Travis to the punch and say “Hell that’s Texas! Them people couldn’t even spell phone!"

🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣

As for the quip about Montana's three electoral votes I would ask what's 270 minus Three? Also I don't mind the elite's having their armored vehicles as long as I get to keep my armor piercing rounds. Harris is as much a twit as Biden is and they both together aren't worth the powder and lead it'd take to plant them.

We do have much work to do in regards to the jackasses we allow to handle our elections. If those democrats had been kept from running the last election we wouldn't be in the mess we are in now. We need to be careful about who we elect to any office from dog catcher up to governor. Fully 2/3 of Congress and all of the federal agencies need to be fired and replaced. Our entire Judicial needs to be replaced with people that are actually willing to follow the law and the Constitution. Probably 90% of all school boards need to be fired and replaced with people that are willing to actually consider teaching the basics and actual history and civics to our children. We need to abolish all unions especially Government employee unions.

steve4102: I find it hard to believe even the idiot camel toe harris said something this stupid/ignorant?
IF.... a rural resident/citizen (like myself!) has their "I.D." why would they need to "photo-copy" it?
My suggestion is to NOT watch b.e.t.!
Something I have done since day one - and I am doing very well for myself, as it were.
To each their own I guess (those who watch b.e.t.)?

I’ve dubbed that bitch “The Laughing Hyena Ho”

She’s quickly proving with her asinine statements that she’s even dumber than SLO Joe the Pedo. If that’s even possible.

And I believe that’s why the DemoRat’s are doing their best to keep her public appearances to a minimum.

Don't feel like conservatives are the only ones targeted though... They absolutely believe that blacks are so stupid that they can't even get an ID and use it to vote. That blacks are far too stupid to make a living on their own, so they have to give them food, housing, and obama phones. All out the goodness of their hearts... no payback for anything. Right?

Probably scared that they can't keep their multiple ID's straight when voting multiple times. miles

Yep. The DemoRat’s are not worried about “rural” folks having access to Xerox machine’s to copy their ID.
What they’re really worried about are the hood rats and wetbacks that have NO ID whatsoever not being able to vote for them. 😡

WTF would she say you need to photocopy your ID anyway. Wouldn't you just bring it with you?

Progressives are the most open minded, tolerant, and inclusive people on the planet, as long as you agree with everything they say, and do exactly as you're told.
