The old Eversharp Company, became the Sharp Electronics Company. Pencils were painted yellow to make them look like they came from Japan back when Japanese products were all the rage. I started out as a draftsman about 60 years ago and about every type mechanical pencil on the the market then. Nothing beats a pencil in the wood shop If God wanted you to walk and carry things on your back, He would not have invented stirrups and pack saddles
