I prefer the ones with the zip tab rather than the ones you just press together to seal. We use all sizes. However, I find we use more "Press N' Seal" plastic wrap by Glad than bags. That stuff is amazing, you ca seal about anything with it

Use a lot of bags. All sizes.
Bought a full set/box of various size clear Pyrex with tight fitting lids. From 1 cup to 2 qt? Size. Use them for lots of stuff we used to use ziplocks for.

When we travel all day, I put chips, cheese, lunch meats, and a wet wash cloth in the zipper style.
For freezing, I use the double slide types.

I use them for a variety of things. I keep some quart zip-locs in my backpack when I’m wade fishing for my wallet and cell phone. In deer season I’ll keep a couple of gallon size ones for the heart and liver. I keep all of my meat in them when I work up a deer. Never had any problems but it usually all gets eat within a year. I used to use them as water proof bags when I back-pack camped. A quart size zip-loc is about perfect for a couple pairs of socks. I use the pints, quarts and gallons. Prefer the zip style.

My mom washes and reuses them. Just like she does with plastic eating utensils.
Why not just use real silverware if your gonna wash it?
Parents who say they have good kids..Usually don't!
