Just checked and the Oregon draw results are posted. I am happy with what I have which is a Murderers Creek deer tag and a Silvies antelope tag. Since I didn't get any tags for Wyoming I'm glad to be hunting antelope this fall.

Good luck to all - hope you draw your tags also and have a good hunt!

Congratulations. Enjoy your hunts.

We did about as good as could be expected. Pulled mule deer buck and antlerless deer. No elk and no antelope. A bit surprised by the antlerless.

One of our bunch elected to put in for a different elk hunt and drew it. Jan1 to March 31, 2022 about ten miles from his house.

I am really looking forward to this falls hunts. I have been crippled up for over three years. Among other things, I finally got the second hip replaced and the rehab is going well.

Congrats to those who drew well.
I only drew the 615 this year. Will buy over the counter buck and elk tags. Helping a buddy on an antelope hunt in E. Beatty's Butte

No joy, even with 20 points for one of the big three archery elk units.... sheesh!

A damage tag for elk and otc Blacktail rifle this year.

We have 3.5 points for WY antelope, but deferred to 2022 for that - WY was tough this year!

I quit paying for these drawings... always seem to go to people in Potlandia and Screw'em, I mean Salem....

Best of luck for you boys that managed to draw a good one....the few I've ever drawn, haven't turned out to be worth Crap...

I've drawn White Horse a couple of times in the past, and really enjoyed just being out there, even if there are more hunters than animals it seemed...

I really think Oregon's draw system is politically rigged, so I don't participate any more in it...
but always wish those lucky enough to draw, wish them all the best on their hunts....

Getting zero draw tags is such a yearly occurrence I don’t even get excited about seeing draw results anymore. I Free firearms bull elk tag last year for the Northside unit and hit all the dark holes I’ve scored in before and the normal spots and all I found was one set of elk tracks but lots of wolf sign. I heard one shot in 4 days. Even drawing a tag is becoming depressing.

Longarm:
Can you please provide some details (or a link) on this E-Beatys cancellation/closure ?
Or did you simply decide not to go hunt ?
I am supposed to leave Wed (11th) and head down with a buddy, who has an Antelope tag.
He has received no notification from ODFW about this as a possible option.

The only notice I have come up with posted (deep) on the ODFW site, is 4 Antelope units around Silver Lake,
which had lmiited public access ( due to the earlier Bootleg Fire ) ... and the tag holder had to proactively cancel
their hunt, to get any Speed-Goat preference points re-instated (+1) for the 2022 drawing.

Some details on this E. Beatys "drought" . . . Please !

I looked for that information also and didn't find a thing.
Maybe they self-canceled, due to their understanding of the drought condition supposedly there...

Not looked for the info myself, but one of Cookie's photographer buddies has the option of risking an East Beaty's hunt, or canceling and having his points restored. If one knows his unit with knowledge of perennial water sources, I'd be inclined to go.

Here's the (4) units that were listed and a link to the page describing "Fire Danger" ?
No mention of E. Beatys ? ?

As of now, hunters with the following pronghorn antelope tags have been proactively offered point reinstatement
or tag refund. If you have one of these tags and did not receive an email, please contact odfw.websalesodfw.oregon.gov .
Also please add a valid email address to your account (by logging in to your account, visiting a License Sale Agent
or asking odfw.websalesodfw.oregon.gov to add one).

Sorry I didn't check back on this earlier.
My buddy drew the E. Beatty's. He said he received notification that there were no animals in the unit due to the drought and he was offered the opportunity to cancel his hunt for a refund and an additional preference point. He reiterated this information just today.
I'll send him a note first thing in the morning and see if I can get more details.

ETA: I just called him now. He said he was notified via email last Monday. No animals due to lack of water. He took the option to be refunded for his hunt and get an extra preference point.
Apologies for any confusion my earlier post may have generated.

OK, thanks for the clarification.

It will be interesting to see what may become of the sage grouse tag allocations....?

Got 2 new fires down in unit 175. Interstate. They need to close the deer and elk season there cause they be running out of unit.
Patton meadows fire and also Willow res. Then you add in Bootleg and bout all you got left is private property.
