Has anyone shot the Berger 156 grain EOL in 6.5-.284 Norma? What velocities are you getting and what powder is working well for you? TIA.

I shoot the 156 Berger's out of my MOA Evolution in 6.5x284. I'm getting 2920 fps, kicks like a ,22 with the brake, cloverleaf groups at 100 yards, almost one hole. I buy handloads from Bob Beck at MOA Evolution, I believe they use H-1000 powder, I hope this helps.

RL26 will deliver the most velocity it seems. I send mine plodding along around 2800 with H1000. I was close to 2900 but felt like my chamber was hitting pressure there. My barrel is 23" long. Very accurate bullet and was very Berger like on a large whitetail buck last fall.

I have a 6.5 GAP 4S Titanium action Mountain Rifle (6lbs. 10 oz. W/O scope) built by Jim See from Elite Accuracy. It pushes the 156 Berger at 2850 fps (sea level) and in 2019 I stoned two bull elk with this rifle, distances weren't far (150 and 250 yards). I was shooting Copper Creek handloads, 24" barrel, box says they should be going 2930-50 fps, barrel isn't fully broken in.
