Told Jake Tapper on CNN that the CDC is fixing to order mask wearing again, even for fully vaccinated people. This mf'er needs his ass beat. He has no authority to order that. Neither does the president. Most businesses will “follow the order” like before. No masks, no entries. I think you’ll be surprised. Most of them are just getting the chance to try and save what they’ve built. I bet you’ll see some seriously stressed out folks lose their scheit. Our economy can’t survive another shut down. Honestly, I’m not sure we can survive the effects of the last one. History will be the judge. Agree, Jack. We’ll probably see another reintroduction of more extended unemployment benefits as we move closer to the 2022 elections and more stimulus checks may be on the table. Gotta buy those votes.

If businesses need a license and they risk losing it if they don't impose wearing a mask, I bet they follow orders just like the last time. Worst of it is that people are scared to death to think and make decisions for themselves.... they would rather be told what to do, that way they can't be judged if they are wrong. Society as a whole is ridiculously stupid, but I know you know that. The tyrants know our economy can't survive another shut down, that's why they want it so bad.... they are just trying to come up with a way to convince the sheep it's the right thing to do.

License won’t matter if you’re financially ruined. Most small business owners have everything they own coupled to the business. Most of the ones I know have one chance of pulling out from the mess they’re in.

They'll put up the mandated "mask required" signs and then not give a phug if a customer wears a mask or not.
The real stand is will employees wear them? I feel for them having to go back to it if they do.

When the state issues your license, they leverage you with the threat of the loss of your livelihood.
The founding fathers would already be shooting.

I'm in that boat too, but in this socialist state of PA, last year my business was deemed non essential for 7 or 8 weeks. We weren't allowed to work. Some guys had jobs that were literally shut down. In some cases there isn't much you can do about that if they start sending you fines on top of everything else you have to withstand... They are truly pushing people to their limits and they may not like the result of that!!

The problem is the people that really care about freedom and patriotism are the ones that have worked hard their whole lives and have the most to lose, so are the slowest to act in a way that may jeopardize that. In other words, the left can push us way into a corner, a corner so narrow we may not be able to get out of it.

Was driving thru a little no name town in Indiana yesterday and the local Papa Johns was offering a $300 bonus and $15/hr . That doesn't mean much in a big urban area, but you can live on $15/hr in a small town.

Business, home, children/family, investments, holding out for better times that have always came etc…. Unfortunately I think it’s different this time. Can’t help but feel we’re on the edge of no way back though. People should be making plans for what’s coming. If I lived in a suburban setting I’d be getting out as quick as possible.

The county over west is already getting ready for a fall lockdown.
Governors race this year, and a few state rep elections. Betting there won’t be any lockdowns here. No way the Dems in control want that optic during an election. Unless they're planning on a dropbox/mail-in ballot win. Bingo!! That King is a smart fuqker......

I think there is going to be some pretty significant flight from the suburbs in the next 7 years for various reasons.
those 5 acre plots just outside the suburbs but a short driving distance to shopping are going to see some serious increase in value.
I hope to be one of them buying soon

I hope to be one of them buying soon Around here they already have. You should’ve bought before now. I picked up another 3 ac and 4 ac tract adjacent to our property. Kept it as separate parcels instead of vacating property lines and adjoining it. Planning on getting it perked and pulling well/septic permits on both to keep options open. If nothing else I can build a couple small rental cabins that could be converted to permanent places for the kids if necessary.

yea, true, but my point is there is going to be stronger demand in the next few years than there was before as "white collar flight" takes hold of the suburbs

If you didn't want masks again maybe you should have got the vaccines! Less than half of Americans are fully vaccinated despite widespread availability. That's not enough to prevent massive spread. Vaccination rates for conservatives in particular are shockingly low, because being unvaccinated is now associated with being conservative. They are very smart. Thanks Tucker! I didn't know viruses knew about politics. Indeed, of the 19 states (including D.C.) that have already hit 70 percent, Joe Biden carried every single one in 2020.
And of the 17 states that have yet to surpass even 60 percent, Donald Trump won them all with one exception: Georgia.

Business acquaintances so I bite my tongue. Did tell one of them I live in the country to protect my kids from diversity.
