Salt water flyfishing for Silver (Coho) Salmon

With proper technique and a bit of practice, you can place that 3 pronged, weighted fly - ing missile right into the side of an ocean bright chromie with precision

An ugly stik helps, even if you're ugly already

Hey guys, thank you to all of you.
Comments , PM,s, txt, ph calls.

Good network of solid guys!!!
👍👍👍

Rough day yesterday for me.
Lost my 3 male dogs since last September.
Been up since before false dawn this morning surfing this thread and responding to PM,s.

My daily routine since yesterday with Blackjack is hollow

Good memories are replacing grief more.

Thanks dudes!!!

Got the Win 140 shotgun stock to get stained today.
That will help my noggin get somewhat right also.

And of course it is always a "Pics or it never happened " thang!!!

Hey R50, here's one to make your stock work look like a master!
My first stock from a blank, I was poor and really wanted a bolt gun for NMC matches after I legged out.
Rough as a cobb but it fit me like a glove. Made HM with it. A losing HM but I got the card.
I actually used a skill saw to rough it out. I'll never be a stock maker for sure.
A good friend I grew up with clip slotted, trued and fitted the Krieger barrel. He just lost his only son a couple weeks back. I need to go see him soon.
I always like to see your pics and stories that go with them.

Lots of guys with excellent DIY skills on here.
That is cool as heck man.

All the time, every time.

Fubar must admit , Big Stick was and is correct about the stereotypical Texan ..... petting zoo & haybale & Crocket chronicles ... or whatever he calls it, is real..... damn...

I did like Rio's line about discarding antlers in the yard for dogs to drag off.... well not really....

Condolences to Rene. I'm pup sitting our Lily today. She was running in the yard Wednesday morning and blew out her central tarsal bone. Had surgery on Friday. Hope she mends well. Long road ahead. Not to mention it cost the price of a good elk hunt. But she's a sweetheart.

Rickshaw, That's a cool picture, have you seen any aspen trees with naked women carved in them? some where I have pictures of a few trees the sheep herders carved in North Western Colorado, back in the 1950s. Rio7
