My local tractor dealer used to offer foam filling of tractor tires. Around here, mesquite thorns can really cause grief with tires.

This is different than "loaded" tires for counter weight and added weight for traction. I highly recommend loading tires on a tractor, especially if you have a front loader.

I had a tire shop foam fill my riding lawn mower tires. Wouldn't recommend that. They are very heavy and ride very rough. The back tires are still foam filled and it helps with traction but very hard riding. Slime seems to work okay but it is one of the least expensive products for that purpose. There are better products but they cost more. Get what you pay for. It has been my experience tire sealant or patches don't work on sidewall punctures. Most tire shops won't patch them. I have used Flex Seal on a couple tires for sidewall punctures and it seems to work. You have to break down the tire and put several coats on the inside then remount the tire.
