Are the Hornady 130gr 270 Interbonds as accurate as the 130gr Interlocks?

In my 270 Win, the Interlocks have always shot best, whether 130 or 150 grain.

I've had very spotty results with Noslers across the board, but when they shoot for me, I use them.

Interlock is a fine bullet always way more accurate than they need to be. Can't say the same for the Interbond.

I have not had great luck getting IB to shoot - either 130s in 270 or 165s in .30 cal. Tried in several rifles. These are with early lots and never tried seating deep to see if improves. Rarely have issues getting IL to shoot including 130 270

I was already a member here when I started reloading. I remember many discussions about bonded bullets over the years. The consensus has always seemed to be that Nosler Accubonds generally give about the same accuracy as the Ballistic Tips, but the same isn't true for Interlocks and Interbonds. I just heard too many stories about lack of accuracy with the Interbonds to ever try them. I've used the Accubonds and always found them very easy to get to shoot accurately.

Those who must raise their voice to get their point across are generally not intelligent enough to do so in any other way.

Had a heck of a time getting the 130 Interbond (and 154 in my 280) to shoot well. The Interlocks were much easier bullets to shoot well for me.

Interbonds are a waste of your time, money & resources. Interlocks are the best cup/core bullet on the market behind NBT’s.

I'm sorry, I misread "interbond" for "accubond." May I be forgiven now?

Thanks for your inputs. I loaded 20 rounds with H4350 (because I have several pounds of it and it works in my 270) and the Interlocks for my friend to try before loading more.

I've had no experien with .270" interbonds, but 85gr .243"s and 139gr .284"s have given me very good accuracy in several guns, while 154gr .284"s have given me dismal accuracy in several guns

I just got testing a load with Varget and 150 gr Interlocks in my .308. I can get two in the same hole, and the third is a flyer, I will take a 3/4” group with “cheap” bullets.

No experience with the .277 IB’s but the 139gr .284’s shoot good out my Ruger 77 7RM and my Tikka 7-08.

I never had an issue with Interbonds or Interlocks either. The Interbond is a lot tougher bullet than the Interlock.Used the Interbond 139gr and 154gr in my 7mags and 7STW.Used the 165gr Interbond in my 308 Win,30-06,300WSM and 300 Win Mag and they all shot very well.

Seat the bullets in 1/4 turn on your seating stem, test, and repeat until the third bullet joins the other two as per Aussiegunwriter. It works!

I’m in the same camp as most others. I’ve tried the Interbonds in some that worked unreal good and others no matter what I did I couldn’t get them to perk. I will say if they shoot they are one of my favorite bonded, sleek hunting Bullets. They expand very wide and kill well.

Interlock is more accurate than any bonded bullets that I have tried.
