Those are the goods one right there!

OP I’d expect it to travel through at least 4-5 one gallon jugs. A single five gallon gas can isn’t all that thick compared to several one gallon milk jugs in a row.

Are you sure those have the same thread pattern as the new jugs? If so, please give a link.

In your professional opinion how tough do you think that would be on the bullet?

There's Nothing wrong with a hillbilly doing a science experiment.
Here's a little more hillbilly science if you want to save money.
Buy bottled water and save the one gallon jugs. Set them on a table in a row. You aren't limited to five either. Less than a dollar a piece.

Cheap and easy if one goes for that sort of thing.

It was a Creed. You get a metal detector and start looking about 100 yds in front of the jug.

That’s what I bought too. And I don’t need a third arm and a pet monkey to pour gas! Maybe not much but I like to think I’m thumbing my nose at lawyers that have never mowed their own dang grass a day in their life!!

Wasn’t my gas jug. Nozzle was messed up. I asked can’t you just get another nozzle?I was told to just shoot it 🤷‍♂️

EZ Pour is the answer you're looking for, they make replacement nozzles and caps for all the cans...without the safety push down BS.

This thread is actually getting worse.

If that’s even possible.

Without reading any posts..... I’m guessing you recovered a portion that could be described as a bullet. Had you shot the bucket at under 30 yards.....unrecognizable bullet fragments only! Just my experience in the shooting of water filled, 1 gallon milk jugs @ 30 yards! memtb

Addendum: I have now read all of the posts......so far, a complete waste of time! I actually, quite mistakenly thought, there be actual results! memtb

It’s still going as far as I know. Guess I will have to get more scientific next time and put more jugs behind it.
Needs to cool down first and I need to save some jugs up. Might have to put a package of Bar S hotdogs in front of the water jugs to be more “scientific.”

my hillbilly experiment went thru a cantaloupe, A full gallon jug, another smaller full jug and got caught on /split by the rim of a steep soup can behind the other three things...
