Any 'Fire consensus for Gunsmoke syndication viewing on these old tube units?

Did anyone ever actually have (or even see) a Curtis Mathes television?

No, but I dismantled a Trinitron with a sledgehammer once so it would fit in the trash. That was one badass television. Probably take more rounds than Marshall Dillon.

Had an uncle owned a TV shop. He used to build his own. We got the hand me downs.

Yep, a friend back in high school had one. That was back in the late 80’s. They had a big satellite dish and pool table too. Party central.

Hopefully that was used to watch ND HOCKEY games!

I had a Curtis Mathis color television. It was top of the line back in the day. Used to watch it from my waterbed.

First color TV when I was a kid was one of those. 1967.
Console version. Big wooden cabinet with the Record Player and Radio too.
I think the TV finally quit when I was a Senior in HS. 1978.
Dad bought a new TV and set it on top of that cabinet. 🤠
