tripped and fell with the Mortimer yesterday. broke the wrist again.
a half inch away from the original break. fixed again. going to find a plank and carve out a new stock. the wood in this one seems very brittle.
Other than that it shoots like a gem!

Naturally I had the lock out, and the barrel off for cleaning. I was really amazed how heavy the wood was. The wood weight did help to balance that barrel.
Miss mine a lot. I just bought a Target Jaeger from Pedersoli as a Mortimer substitute.
Hood luch on the stock. Lot of detail work for captured pins etc.
