It's the narrative.

They want people to be ignorant of the founding fathers intentions.

They don't mean you end up equal. And the idea that we should is repugnant.

There’s nothing equal about sitting on your a$$ while getting free handouts.

Some work, some reap.

Income is and should be based on:
1- Appetite for risk
2- Work ethic, time and mental and physical exertion one is willing to sacrifice to the pursuit of wealth.
3- Intelligence.
4- Education. Choice of course of study, application of knowledge
5- Ability to recognize opportunity and seize it. (See #3 & #4)
6- Inherited wealth. (Only because the ability to pass on wealth is key to incentivize folks to build wealth)

Income should never be based on:
1- Sympathy
2- Sense of entitlement
3- Race
4- Emotion.
5- Past transgressions

I'm going with the " woe is us " isn't going to end anytime soon.

Keep it on the forefront. It's an effective political tool

I am FAR from wealthy, but it makes my damn blood boil to see the wealthy demonized on account of their wealth. There are a few wealthy people in my extended family. Every single one of them worked their ass off to get where they are. I never really thought about it, but Jack is spot on in his identification of appetite for risk as a factor. Several of them weren't sure where money for their next meal was going to come from when they were launching their careers. They could have taken a more conservative route like I did, but they had the balls to go for it.

Yep. You put yourself in a position where what sustains you must also be sustained. Sometimes/most times that means 7 days a week to keep the cash machine running. Symbiotic relationship that’s somewhere between a roller coaster and a meat grinder.

When you hear "income disparity" and "equity", think Marxism. Those are right out of the Commie handbook. That old bastard Karl used class envy, jealousy and several other of mankind's nasty tendencies in his writings to get people riled up. That's what is done before any "revolution". Now the Left in our country is using this gender and "anti-racist" garbage to get the same results. Many are either ignorant of the tactics, or stupid enough to fall for it.
