There was a bunch of agriculture stuff in the bill. Charles Grassley voted for the bill as well. I wasn't very happy but I get his point. The down side is there are very few farmers any more. There are much fewer land owners than there was just 50 years ago. That makes the farmers a very large special interest group. Special interest groups shell out a lot of re-election money. Charles is running for his last time and he has competition this primary. He needs the cash to stay competitive.
