There was a bunch of agriculture stuff in the bill. Charles Grassley voted for the bill as well. I wasn't very happy but I get his point. The down side is there are very few farmers any more. There are much fewer land owners than there was just 50 years ago. That makes the farmers a very large special interest group. Special interest groups shell out a lot of re-election money. Charles is running for his last time and he has competition this primary. He needs the cash to stay competitive.

We need to spend money on infrastructure. Roads, bridges, sewage treatment plants, dams big and small. It’s been 50-60 years since the Eisenhower admin did the last big upgrade and 85 years since the TVA was founded.
Unfortunately, this crap the Dems are pushing on us maybe only 20% is real infrastructure and 80% “social infrastructure” meaning Planned Parenthood and community organization and other giveaway nonsense. This infrastructure bill is the beginning of the green new deal (i'm quoting President Trump). I agree.

I like Maria. She seems to be conservative, has common sense, is intelligent, knows finance & business is not afraid to tell it like it is. No wonder she left CNBC.
