Couldn’t understand why the buck didn’t drop at the shot, just stood there like nothing happened. Chambered another and tried again I don't get it. That is blood in the bullet hole in the tree...so did the shot go clean through him, splinter the tree and then the splinters speared the deer or something, keeping him upright? I am totally lost here, and sober too.

Is that sports team a regional high school type of league, or is it completely separate from school sports?
Google Fu says that MCYSA means a lot of different things.

T, as far as I know it's totally separate from school stuff. He plays for his HS team too.
I think it's some sort of deal like he played in a couple of years ago. A traveling team after his Little League season was over, by invite only. My sister said that was pretty special for LL kids.
That trophy says it's an under 15 tournament, which he qualified for as he turned 16 after their post season season started.
Sis has already gone to bed, so I can't ask her what the acronym means. We, who have worked for gooberment, know all about those damn acronyms!

He tried to take my Turkey decoy out. That's great!!!! The first thing I ever killed with a bow was a fox. I do have a friend that killed a black wolf in Montana with his bow, but alas, I have no photos of either, so it never happened...😁

You and I could hang out. Was that deer hard to track? Sometimes when their tracks get mixed up with others in the snow it can be tough to single them out, especially when spilling your clamato all over. Had to back out until morning to be sure it bedded down, didn't want to push it. Called a pard to bring in a dog...Zing Zang and Tabasco (not Clamato) was giving the dog fits but we threw empties at him until he got his sh*t together.

F'n cancer, left us too soon.
I remember that. That sucked. Losing a good dog is the worst.
