This one has me stumped. My bud sent me these asking me if I’ve ever seen one before. I haven’t. It’s definitely pistol caliber but stamped “.45 govt” .

Any info would be much appreciated.

1881 Marlin and quite possibly 45-70 as they were chamber in such.

Thank you. My buddy thought the action port was too small to be as such but from my research this morning it looks like it is definitely an 1881 in 45-70. I appreciate your time.
