K and L frames use the same grips. Yes, but the balance wasn't right. That's why I tried different grips. No joy. I am back from the shop. I bought the Model 66. More on grips. I played with the Colt and the Smith. I don't like the grips on the KC. The triggers felt the same.

Please buy the S&W and let someone else own the Colt. I have shot both but have been frustrated by the sloppiness and the price of a Colt so don't own them. I have owned, carried, and shot a few S&Ws. I will stick with them.. A 38 and a 1917 45 ACP. Be Well Steve, RZ.
