Anyone know of a good gunsmith who can do a trigger job for a reasonable amount on an H&R single shot 7-08 ? I used to send them to David White but I was able to reach his family and found out that he passed away earlier this year.

I don’t know anyone that does them, but if you want to try it yourself there are instructions on some websites as well as YouTube videos.

Check with Wayne York at Oregon Gunsmithing. I know that he's done quite a bit of work on H&R rifles.

Go to Graybeard Outdoors. Find the FAQ's at the top of the H&R centerfire rifle forums. All things H&R are in there including trigger work.
