Herbert this is your second Game disease/parasite thread in 24 hours. First it was bot fly infested squirrels and now it's CWD in cervids.

I wouldn't eat it. It's been a couple years since research findings from Canada showed the disease can jump from deer to Macaque monkeys (primates used because of similarities to humans). The study, conducted over five years, saw researchers feed the monkeys CWD-tainted venison. The monkey's contracted CWD/CJD.
