Which beats the heck out of the 21 we had in the yard in 5 years at one place we lived. We have a rule about rattlers in the yard. Pics to follow. Our youngest dog noticed him, the wife noticed the dog looking concerned. It's a good thing it was they young dog and not our older ones, try as hard as we have (less e collar training) we can't stop them from being interested in snakes, they'd have likely tried to kill it themselves. He Ded now, like Roy: +/- 30" long I hate to kill things just for the killing, I have but prefer to make use of what I can...................so. Currently in the freezer awaiting a grilling day: Wish I could post a video easily. I have a short one of its still beating heart. Fugger got me with the "musk" while skinning it out too. Body tensed up and squirted, actually got some in my beard..............which was not "pleasant" for awhile. Have to settle for a still shot of the heart: Skins been saved too..............for something....................some day.
