Schumer probably wants to push ahead because he knows what is going to happen in 2022 I think you're right He’s absolutely right. When the GOP gets in, they look at their agenda and say "well, let's not try to do too much too fast because the Media will makes look bad and we may lose power in the next election". They stall and don't get anything positive done for their voters. Dems get into power and they say "We've been waiting to get the hammer and now let's use it, damn the consequences! If we lose power at least we got 10 years worth of our junk passed".

Schumer probably wants to push ahead because he knows what is going to happen in 2022 Nobody knows, yet. Their success in the mid-terms will probably be inversely-proportional to how many of their candidates get endorsements from the President.😛 The Dems are gonna lose huge. I'm not sure I'd take that bet.
