For an everyday boot/work/play boot I would lean to, and will most likely buy soon, a Tecovas Bandera with the Vibram sole.

I used to buy Montana brand boots out Mexico...far superior to most everything here in the states... A lot of people like Luchesse but I can't vouch as have never owned. A really good boot comes from Double HH and they are USA made. Another vote for Olathe. And if price don't matter get a pair of M. L. Leddy
