Holy smokes! He knocked it outta the park with that one! Gosh darn, what a beautiful rifle KK. Can't wait to hear how you like it. I have a Legend on my 375 Improved as well and couldn't be happier. The metal work on yours looks excellent!

Looking great, except for that rear mount that hangs over into the ejection port..
I try to stick with the basics, they do so well. Nothing fancy mind you, just plain jane will get it done with style. You want to see an animal drop right now? Shoot him in the ear hole. BSA MAGA

Nice but I would have had a banded front sight base installed after my factory one on my 416 was bumped and fell off. One screw IIRC with shallow threads. Check it out least.

Looking great, except for that rear mount that hangs over into the ejection port.. Those mounts were on the rifle when I bought it. Planning on changing them out

Great looking rifle. Is that how you are going to leave the finish? I like the green stock and stainless combo.

That’s the plan for now. He refinished all the metal work to match.
Honestly my biggest question is whether I will ultimately be happy with the barrel as is. I know the factory 375 barrel is heavy, but I was wanting to give it a try in this configuration before committing to swapping it around. Can always take some barrel off, cannot put it back on.

Not sure a .375 H&H could be better put together, congrats on a fine rifle and enjoy!

My 375 M70, bought used here, came with a fluted factory barrel cut to 21" in a Brown Pound'r stock. It feels great but lacks open sights which I am fine with on this rifle. Seems it weighed 7 3/4" with the 2-7X VX2.

Nice looking rifle! Mark does great work, he built me a 30/06 years ago and it shoots and feeds flawlessly. He’s on a very short list of smiths that I use for rifle work.

Mark sure does nice work. I had him build me a 30-06 on a Winchester classic action years ago, came out great and shot very well.

Looking great, except for that rear mount that hangs over into the ejection port.. Sorry, but I thought the same thing. Some nice Conetrol bases and rings would match that sexy metalwork, but I am guessing you are using QR rings with the iron sights.

Sweet rig. Should clobber anything pn this side of the pond.
I have pops old Savage lefty w a Penrod heavy taper bbl sitting in the safe. Need a stock for it, isnt long or short action, is old and of that spacing where nothing avail.
Hell it aint been shot since he got it.....yrs ago. Not kidding.
Im not a lefty but figured for chucker it wont matter.
