North Alabama weather is shaping up to be rainy through Wednesday of next week. Today's rainfall is predicted to be .25" - .5". Highs in the lower 80's, lows 69-70.

High mid 80's fairly calm 'til evening - then it only gets a little over 15 mph.
Low 50's this AM.
Threw a jacket in the truck this morning - shipping the yearlings tomorrow.
It'll be "nippy" - the corrals sit at 8100 feet. smile

Coffee and a clear 51 this morning. Rain would be more welcome.

That set of corrals are 119 miles from my house. The first 105 are interstate - the rest is "interesting"
Dodging deer, on a steep winding road, hemmed in by trees & brush, in the dark is FUN !!! smile
Not to mention the occasional elk, black bear, lion, or flock of turkeys. smile smile smile

First rain in a long time is supposed to hit us tonight in NW Oregon. One to two inches, and I can't wait.

I feel for you farmers and ranchers that have been going without it for so long.

That's impossible 29* w/frost going to 80* smile

Fifty degree difference between night temps and day temps are fairly common and counted on in the summer. In the winter, Chinook winds will raise the temps more than that in a few hours.
And, no, I have never heard it called Montan'ee except on Lonesome Dove!
