I spent some coin on my first pair of Canadian boots. Then started looking at eBay now and then. Picked up two more pairs for half the retail price.
Tried the Kenetrek Mountain Extreme boots last season. Comfortable boot, feet stay dry, only bitch is their lug sole material is super slick on wet logs.
Iβve ended up on my ass a few times.

I think it mostly depends on the country one is hunting and type of weather they are subjected to.
I have 3 pairs of Canadians. One pair is still rocking after 20 years and one rebuild. I rotate between the three during hunting season. I also take good care of them with proper cleaning and oiling. Theyβre expensive, so Iβm vested in making them last.
YMMV on boots.

A. It never works well. They make it based on previous viruses. You get sick from new mutants.
B. There are vegetables all over the place who were healthy before they got a flu shot. My wife is a pediatric nurse. Her specialty is kids who are on vents and gtubes long-term. About a third of her patients have been the result of flu shots.
The percentage of the population is tiny, but why risk it when the flu isn't going to kill you and there are treatments to lessen the severity?
