Well Dan. I'm not too familiar with dating of European Cars although I probably was living over there about that time but did not GAF. Now the U'S made vehicles in the 1965-80 time period is more my interest. What year was that car built?

Looks like my 1958 TR3 that I drove in college. at UT.
Mine was red, my brothers was white, and my best friend had blue, and another friend had a black one. I was once chased by the campus cops on the inner campus drive and eluded pursuit, but naturally, he did ID my license plate.
I had to pay that dang ticket before I could graduate!
And I had a red headed girl friend who was more trouble than the TR3..

Good Times!

Not sure precisely but the production dates for the TR-3 were from '55-'61. I suspect is came from the earlier part of that time envelope. I was in elementary school in that time frame.

FWIW, I was out with the family for brunch today and found this in the parking lot. Bunch of ol' farts in the region that play with stuff aside from guns. grin

I think it was the TR-3 designed to have flip up lights but they were cancelled due to cost issues (aka lucas electrics)

We had a school teacher in town, single guy that drove one of those things, he thought he was Hugh Hefner, smoked the same pipe a Hefner, and tried to dress the part, was a real A$$ WHOLE , about 1958 or 59, is that close to how old this little roller skate is ?? Rio7

My first car was a red '64 Triumph Spitfire.
Girlfriend's mom would not allow her to ride in that "death trap".
I was a 6'2" teenager, and I didn't so much ride in the car as wear it!

Buddy had one of those in HS.
We used to pick it up on the parking lot and move it it where he couldn’t drive off.
