My dad wouldn't allow that crap. At 10 I carried my rifle & treestand. Carried treestand on my back, I was so short my feet would hit the stand & I was constantly face planting, dad just laughed. We would find 2 trees close together. Fun times, good memories.

I had a couple bricks of that deer cocaine in my shop for 5 years. A hunting pard brought them down one year - we never put them out. Sooo, I dumped them on the property to see if any of the deer roaming around would check them out.

Nothing, zilch, nada, they’ve been out for 5 months and there’s been no deer on either one.

I think I’ll plant a few apple trees. Buy a comfy chair, build a ground blind, wear camo, use some extra strength scent deodorizer, hang 6 cameras and wait the 8 years for the apples to drop.

Dont get me wrong.
I love hunting in this state.
I know many areas.
Public lands, Tva places, state forrest, ftcky, slumlords places.

But my contempt for the blatant baiting and wardens refusal to do their job at the bare minimum per the law.

Really irks the schit outta me.

Wardens in Maine growing up were dicks.
But treated everyone the same.
Enforce the law....
Wardens in Colorado state guys and fed guys on carson did their job.
Fed wardens here on Ftcky do their job.

For some reason wardens in Tn dont wanna be seen as the " bad guy" enforcing the law...

Are the same ones whacking all the seed corn 1.5 to 2.5 6 and 8,s on pee paws place by the tripod feeder.
Or killing 4 5 8 scrubs on the same place and calling em does on telecheck and butchering em up themselves.

Had a stand in a persimmon tree in the early 80's.

3 or 4 pieces of scrap 2x4 and a few big spike nails for climbing. That county restricted rifle use to at least 8ft off the ground.

Being banned from Tn deer in late 2011 actually was a good thing for me in retrospect.

Stopped giving out info.

Bout 4 or 5 of them azzholes on tn deer who never scratched my back.
I got em nad27 ftcky maps and protractors to read 8 digit grids via pm,s
Taught via pm how to read a 6 or 8 digit in the most basic of terms.
Even took pics for fugging lessons for em.

Couple of the lazy fuggs couldnt even do that.
Had ta tell em to switch their gps signals from standard wgs 84 to nad 27 so they wouldnt be off 300m south plugging in a simple start point to a way point.


I was to helpful for many years.
Teach coach mentor is ingrained in me from the Army.

I'm a secretive aint seen schit type now.
Unless I get a sense of pity like I did for a young infantry e6 like I did 3 yrs ago and brought his lost in space azz into one of my spots in total darkness and left 180° opposite with his 2 does shot with my 220 and the buck I killed.

Several yrs back ok 12-13 yrs ago. I fella in Arizona posted a picture of a deer he shot. In the picture all you could see was corn lol, Arizona at the time baiting for deer was/is a no go. Well the pictures made it to the game wardens and they were hot on it.. Never heard what happened I pcs’ed to alaska soon after and the hunting forum it was on I was pretty close to getting banned anyhow. Bunch of turds on that site. I think it was az couse deer something like that.
