I have several fixed blade hunting knives....but they have very little guard on them. Or....whatever the part of the knife is called that keeps your hand from sliding forward onto the cutty slashy part. I am MAGA.

You probably already have some basic style in mind, but here are a few that I have. I've had these two, Gerber and KA-BAR for a while. Both inspired by classic Bowie knife, and Fairbairn-Sykes knives. This is something a little different, a karambit style. A very deliberate fighting weapon. In a closed fist grip it isn't going anywhere, and with basic punching technique delivers serious wounds. It will slash also.
