Rocky Mountain NP conducted an elk cull twice in two years--it took place 5-10 years ago if I recollect.

I hunt near a res in SK Canada. Those boys up there do not like wolves. Had one near town the locals were seeing on the Res. Put my oldest boy in the area that was on res land. He was told if you see it take it out. On res land they can do what they want. Needless to say that wolf no longer follows school kids and eats the local moose/deer population.

Those guys would catch them on the ice and run them over with the sleds or shoot them with .22's
