That's really nice Roundoak, what are the egg shaped rocks for? My little niece found the rocks on the shore and thought I could put them on the wall along with the other "rocks". Smart little girl, you should listen to her.......

That must be north of where you live based on the turning of the leaves . More color than we have here in west central WI.

Are they natural rocks or did you guy them and how were they secured. We've been thinking of doing the same and so far yours has hit me as being what I had in mind to do. I really like they way it's turning out.

I really like they way it's turning out. I bought the natural slate from a contractor that listed them on Craigslist. It was left over from a job they did. I applied the pieces with DynaGrip subfloor adhesive, grouted and applied a sealer.
