I would not buy something that runs on any kind of primer given the possibility of primer shortages and even regulations. In fact, why not buy a flintlock? Really. Rocks aren't going away anytime soon.

Good post slugflinger. This has been the way of the World practically since the beginning. There always seems to be an alternative reason why political figures vote or push a bill thru. The right things, morality, freedom, rights, generally never enter into the equation. In the time frame we live in now, we get to see this happen in real time. Years ago when someone pointed this stuff out to the public they were labeled a conspiracy freak and it would take 20+ years before the truth ever came out and the conspiracy freak was proven correct. But now it is less then 6 months from conspiracy theory to truth.
