. . . . . . . . . . . . . . as a 21 year old young man, I reported to the O.P.P. Recruit Training facility at 291 Sherbourne Street in Toronto. What an experience that was. I was from the sticks, and the big smoke was something else.
I never knew a police officer until I was one. The learning curve was steep. I had a good Training Officer who disdained radar enforcement, and so did I. He taught me the fundamentals of Criminal Investigation. I served in three or four locations over the course of the next 30 years. I helped some, and some would not be helped.
Been retired now since December of 2001. I had a fun career. Happy to be done for almost 20 years. Good pension and decent benefits.

Congratulations on the journey!
It is often hard to understand where the years went, but the trip has been fun for the most part,hasn’t it ?
