Remember why, specifically, the Bill of Rights was written...remember its purpose. It was written to limit the power of government over the individual.

Well, she could go back to the old country, and take all her friends with her. India? Or Jamaica? Or Ireland? I would prefer all three simultaneously.

We introduced gambling and alcohol to the tribes. Oh, the horror! And carbohydrates. A lot of the Indian tribes already were raising corn (maize), beans, and various squashes (pumpkins, etc.), so they were consuming some carbs, pre-Columbo. L.W.

https://www.foxnews.com/politics/ha...rers-for-ushering-in-wave-of-devastation"Since 1934, every October, the United States has recognized the voyage of the European explorers who first landed on the shores of the Americas," said Harris. "But that is not the whole story. That has never been the whole story.
"Those explorers ushered in a wave of devastation for Tribal nations — perpetrating violence, stealing land, and spreading disease," she continued. "We must not shy away from this shameful past, and we must shed light on it and do everything we can to address the impact of the past on Native communities today."
The Europeans treated the Indians better than they treated each other.
