Wife decided that since the kids started hunting more with me that she will try it too. With that said, I’m moving a few things to purchase a rifle that is more friendly to her and kids.
For Sale- Savage 1899, it appears to have been rebarreled at some point in life. Has the rear sight boss similar to winchester 54s and early model 70s. 22” barrel with deep good bluing. Wears a Williams peep sight, has been re-finished. Stocks in excellent shape with a deceleration pad. Has Lyman folding rear sight as well. Not a collector piece but a very serviceable and durable 99 to hung with. Have a set of Redding dies with it, as well as some fire formed brass and can provide load data.
Serial number 2294xx making this a 1921 model from what I can tell.
