I did one a few weeks ago alone and was starting to question my sanity. I used a couple ratchet straps on the ladder before I climbed up to finish.

Aren't those double ladders fun to put up?  hahaha I conned a couple buddies into helping me put one up one time. One is over-hyper and started "running" it up the tree. He ran out of height and dropped it on my other buddies head. Right on the button of his ball cap. I'm sure you all know what that feels like. So for the next few minutes we got to watch a grown man cry out in the woods. lol

Hahaha. We have a process now. I hold the bottom and swear a lot and my son walks it up the tree.

Same way the wife and I put them up. One of them is 110 #s so now we make one of the kids help.
Last camera check had 3 diff. 8 pointers and some smaller bucks. A moose cow, bear no cubs, one wolf.
We are looking for a great camp with kids and grand kids the first two weekends.

We are looking for a great camp with kids and grand kids the first two weekends. That sounds awesome TJAY! We're not sure what we're getting into here in MN. We weren't really sure we were going to hunt here. We were going to bow hunt in WI. We didn't have enough time to practice proper so we're gun hunting in MN up by Mora. We have no idea what's running around but we're going to find out!

I think I'm ready. I hope I'm ready. By God, I better be ready. Finish packing up next couple of nights, shut the machines off at 11 or so on Friday, and hit the road with everyone else. Looking forward to another opener. Weather looks like it shouldn't be too bad, 50's Sat and Sun. All the best to everyone heading out this weekend.
