In my 1959 20" barreled mannlicher stocked Sako I shoot 95 gr. Nosler Partitions out of a Winchester case with Federal Match primers and 41.5 grs. of IMR 4350...groups good and chronos a little over 2900 fps.
The thing about a Nosler Partician and a .243 Winchester is they will penetrate almost end to end on a deer

Is anyone using IMR 4451 in .243? i have been shooting 95 gr. LRX and 41.5 gr. of IMR 4451 at 3075 fps, it kills the hell out of pigs and coyotes, have only shot 1 deer with it dropped where he stood. i am planning to use this load to cull does in November Rio7
I haven't ever ran that combo, but that sounds like a perfect one for about everything.

I've got my 243 cooking nicely with 4451. 41 grains in R-P brass with a 90 grain Accubond 41.8 grains in SIG brass with a 95 grain Partition No chrono readings, I believe my Oehler is on the fritz.

I load my 243 with 48.4gr of IMR7828, CCI200s and 95gr NBTs, ~3100fps out of 22" barrel with suppressor. It kills well, Hoping to put my 12yo on some hogs with it, and later some deer. I have some RL17 and AA 4350 too, but 7828 has been working well.

I load the 80 grain TTSX for grandkids. They kill them where they stand with that bullet.

Hits and performs like a much bigger bullet, that's for sure. I would like to try the LRX but my current twist won't do that great I don't think.
