It changed to 21 the year I turned 21. Anyhow, we were driving to Acuna, Mexico, just across the Border from Del Rio when I was underage in HS. Didn’t matter how old you were there. And you could do more than see a strip show. Or drink. 😬

Anchorage was built on strip clubs. Alaska Bush Company is an Anchorage institution that was quite legendary back in the day. I think that it has lost its panache. Craziest one I ever went to was the Pondo Club up in Kotzebue in the 1990s. I don't think that they figured out the concept very well. The night I was there they had a old Korean woman who was at least 60 blowing out candles with her Cooche.
