How did we jump from a lefty 30-06 to a 9mm 1911? I'm confused on what you want to buy

I am wanting to buy either but my wife wanted me to include that for her. The 1911 is not a prime worry I am just looking for a left handed truck gun but told her that I would include it in this post.

What I understand from this is you are looking for either a LH truck rifle or a 9mm pistol on 1911 platform, either under $500. Given this budget and LH rifle requirement, I would suggest the following:

1. Ruger American Ranch rifle - they make it in LH, has a threaded barrel if so desired. Multiple caliber options from .223 to 300BO to 450 Bushmaster and several in between. All under $500 and will shoot sub-MOA almost all the time

2. 1911 style 9mm pistol - I would look at the Rock Island Armory offerings and then the Tisas versions form Turkey. Good value for the money, won't blow up in your hand, and under or at your budget.

There are always the "sweetheart" deals that can be made with enough looking and effort - check the boards at the local gun club, the super-secret FB pages selling items, etc. That requires some legwork and they are one-offs so you have to be at the right place at the right time. #1 and #2 are available at any good store.

Good luck with your purchase!

I have a few that are in like new condition, all have been shot maybe ~20.

Stoeger Cougar .40S&W $440
Stoeger Cougar .45ACP $460
Star Ultrastar 9mm $ $450
SIG SP 2340 40S&W & 357SIG this one is a little over the budget @ $650 but it’s 2 guns in one.

Should anything catch your interest, drop a PM and can do some detail pics to email or text.
